Het kan gebeuren dat je tegenslag krijgt, waardoor het lastig wordt het hoofd boven water te houden. Bij de Voedselbank Walcheren begrijpen we dat dit iedereen kan overkomen. Niemand hoeft zich bezwaard te voelen bij ons te komen, voor ons is iedereen gelijk en even belangrijk. Als je klant bij ons bent, helpen wij je iedere week met gratis voedsel. Iedere week kunnen klanten een gratis pakket ophalen met producten. Omdat we afhankelijk zijn van wat we ontvangen, verschilt de samenstelling van het voedselpakket per week en per voedselbank.

Food Bank Walcheren helps people in need by providing them with temporary food aid. Every week customers can pick up a free package of products. Because we depend on what we receive, the composition of the food package differs per week and per food bank.
Aanvraag en toekenning
De voedselbank is er voor iedereen die niet genoeg geld heeft om eten te kunnen kopen.
Of je hulp krijgt van de voedselbank, hangt af van hoeveel je iedere maand overhoudt voor boodschappen en kleding. Dat rekenen we uit door alle inkomsten op te tellen. En daar trekken we de vaste kosten zoals energie vanaf. Na het aftrekken van de vaste kosten blijft er een bedrag over voor boodschappen en kleding. Is dit bedrag lager of iets hoger dan ons ‘normbedrag’? Dan ben je welkom en helpen we je graag!
Wilt u klant worden bij de voedselbank? U kunt alleen een aanvraag indienen voor voedselhulp via onderstaande instanties waarmee Voedselbank Walcheren samenwerkt. Met deze partijen zijn hierover afspraken gemaakt. De beoordeling van de aanvraag gebeurt door Voedselbank Walcheren op basis van de informatie die door de instantie is ingevuld en gecontroleerd. Whether you receive help from the food bank depends on how much you have left for groceries and clothing each month. We calculate this by adding up all income. And we subtract fixed costs such as energy.
After deducting the fixed costs, an amount remains for groceries and clothing. Is this amount lower or slightly higher than our ‘standard amount’? Then you are welcome and we will be happy to help you.
Would you like to become a customer of the food bank? Then you must meet a number of criteria. You can use a calculation form to calculate for yourself whether you are entitled to a free food package from the food bank. You can only submit an application for food aid through the agencies below with which Food Bank Walcheren collaborates. Agreements have been made about this with these parties. The assessment of the application is done by Food Bank Walcheren based on the information completed and checked by the authority. Voedselhulp is noodhulp
De voedselbank helpt mensen door hen tijdelijk van voedselpakketten te voorzien in tijden van nood. Periodiek toetsen we of voedselhulp nog nodig is. Daarom ontvangen klanten in eerste instantie voedselpakketten voor (maximaal) zes maanden. Een maand voor de einddatum kunnen klanten een nieuwe aanvraag indienen via een van de bovenstaande instanties. Er kan maximaal tot drie jaar worden verlengd.
